playing streaming .flv files

I have a request please to make possible to play .flv streaming websites for example youtube through VLC so it would be able to stream to the pocket pc.
I figure that VLC itself would have to look through the youtube or other website page and look for the .flv but I dont mind using VideoDownloader or something to find the .flv myself so asking for support for streaming flv without downloading please.

Found out that FLV files DO play in VLC, when I get over the the "playing does not start" BUG.

Any more info available about FLV (what codecs used, is it supported natively by VLC (no access to Windows or Adomedia/Macrobe codecs), is it legal, ...)
