Crunching the 720*480 res

Postby hbkwarez » 06 Oct 2006 21:19

First of all let me Thank you For VlC player.Am using this since 3 years.
None of the player gave audio video sysnc on my 700Mhz p3 with 128mb ram and now winxp sp2.

If res is 640*480 Vlc player works fine .If resolution of movie (avi) is greater than 720*480 then i get choppy video.i say one answer :-Upgrade cpu .If vlc cann't then none other player has power to play.

Recently i came accross GOM player .It's 2nd on my list.

Man it has option like video->screen size->change screen i just specified
288*176 .....cann't believed the movie got crunched and it played with audio/video sysnc..
Also subtitle are displayed below the black boder and sound is similar to media player.

Another player is KMP player .It's major function is
Normalization->Automatic Volume on/off But audio/video sucks at higher res

Hey man i have noticed the audio in normal media player is different and using vlc player sound quality is little changed??

Is it coz it tries to sync audio or something??
Is it possible For vlc player to have that crunching high res function??

waiting fo your reply despirately!Keep up the good work.

Setting -> Preferences -> Audio -> High quality audio resampling.

I would suggest you to buy another 128MB memory for that computer.
