What is the method to save as file a choosen ten seconds clip from a DVD?

Best way is to use the "Streaming wizard" in the interface. It should be pretty straightforward.

This is what I have been trying for a few weeks, but it doesn't work.

Any other ways?

What have you tried so far? Because it just works fine here, for DVD's streams and .avi files.
