Status bar filename display focused on the right-hand end

Hello,
At present in my old build of VLC I see a long filename in the status bar. Because the filename is too long, the status bar focuses on the begining of the filename. So i see something like this.
[C:\Documents and Settings\now3d\Desktop\Music\Nirva]
So I dont actually see what filename is playing. Could the status bar focus on the end of the filename if it is too long for the display please?
