zoom in in feature

there is an app called "wide screen movie palyer", which lets you zoom in to QT that have letterbox encoded (bummer anyway:-()

it would be so nice, if VLC could do the same, and when viewing mpeg2/4 and divx and all the other codecs, zoom into the footage to get rid of the letterbox....

i run vlc on my powerbook 17" so most can be played in @ least 16x9, but due to encoding w/ letterbox, i only get to use half of my screen.... i do also connect my 16x9 TV via the s-video port, and have the same probelm there....

please keep up the good work on vlc, i think this is an awesome project;-))))))))))

Check the "fill screen" option in preferences->modules->interface->macosx
