use slider to more accurately skip ahead in video files

Postby Leeoniya » 29 Apr 2006 17:48

in most video vewing software clicking on a certain location along the slider will skip ahead to that exact place in the file. with VLC it just advances the video some arbitrary amount, it is sort of an annoyance cause there is no way to quickly skip through a large chunk by clicking an exact position on the time slider and have the video skip to that part, you have to click and drag the slider there.

thanks,
Leon

Already answered a 1000 times: this is a limitation of wxWidgets and we can't do anything about it.

Hmm, that looks interesting.
I will have a look at it.
