I have a request about VLC :

the subtitles are display before apply aspect-ratio to the image and they are streched.
It is possible to display subtitles after apply aspect-ratio and under the picture like that :

That's not possible given our current video output architecture. A rewrite is planned for 0.8.6 which would make things like this possible.
