SID file support

It would be nice to see support for SID files. Implmenting the
SIDPLAY library should be fairly simple.

Hi all,
This would be really interesting! VLC needs to play C64 SID files. Most monumental sounds are released in SID. I would be happy to hear also my SIDs with VLC.
In the last years all other players disapeard. Now I only use VLC as my primary audio / video player.

I would also greatly enjoy being able to play SID files in VLC. I use VLC for every other format, including MIDI files; why not add support for SID files too?

J-b yes i now sid is supported but now that it is it need to be added to the file type association list
