An Idea For VLC's Icecast Radio Directory

I am not sure where I can put this thread but my name is Justin currently I am an at home ICECAST online radio station owner and I really like VLC, my suggestion for VLC is for them to update the software to display the ICECAST metadata for the actual radio station. (for example) my metadata displays my ICECAST genre, a short description of the channel and what my station plays, I have that set in my Rocket Broadcaster encoder settings.

Winamp automatically reads some of this data except for my description, my stream site is also displayed in the meta data of my client side Winamp app, aka the aps I mostly use for listening to my own radio station. I would like VLC developers to have VLC read more of the server/hosts encoder metadata, that way you know what that particular ICECAST station plays in terms of Genre, a short description of that station, maybe the station host's website

you might need to reprogram VLC to display ALL ICECAST stations world wide to get my station to show up

I as a broadcast DJ I just want to add, that I would like the VLC radio directory to stop displaying all those blank (no-name) radio stations aka, the ones without a name like test 123 for example, they just clutter the directory choices with non sense in my opinion. and for one I care about my station mentioned above, and so therefore I gave it a name
"The Angel Classic Rock Mix" if anybody wants to have their station apart of the VLC directory in my opinion THEY SHOULD at least give it a proper name, not this is my server or this is my station name.

It is not fair to the broadcasters that care about their listeners in my opinion please fix this issue if anybody has a no name ICECAST server either put them into their own category OR remove them off the ICECAST directory thank you guys
