Hi all.

I want to use side mouse buttons to jump forward and backward. But VLC doesn't recognize them in the hotkeys section.

Please add this feature. It's very nice and convenient.

By side buttons, I mean these:

Since I think VLC doesn't natively support those buttons, a workaround would be to use X-Mouse Button Control for assigning shortcuts to these side buttons:

On older versions it worked, from atleast 2008-2011 I was able to....now for some reason it won't which aggravates the heck out of me.

If the team could fix that I'd be ecstatic.
