Hi there I was wondering If at some point, in your transcode scheme, you were going to put in frame rate control. I personally think it is use full. especial so when transporting to the net. It easy enough to broadcast over the net, it just that it would be very use full to be able to reduce the frame rate. then one would not to have to sacrifice some much quality over transport bandwidth.
also this would be extremely usefull. for a file write option could you make it so it writes it to a file that has a defined size, and the begining of the file is continously dicarded once the buffer size is reached. and the file is unlock ( as the raw write is under windows - anyways) that way I can place this dynamitic file in an http folder ( found on a ramdrive ) for web access and then multiple uses can download and view an ever changing mpeg for relatively live broadcasts..
and perhaps a grey scale transcode would be nice too.
