Avisynth like output

I use VLC to receive live networked TV channels from my Internet service Provider.
Since VLC doesn't support real video encoding, i'm looking for a way to send these Mpeg 2 transport streams in real time to realproducer, which unfortunatly only suports avi files as input.
So i thought outputting the stream in avisynth in the guise of an uncompressed avi file might be the solution to feed realproducer.
Can this be done ?
