Subtitles over news ticker

I can not read the srt subtitles over news ticker, watermarks and bottom banner advertisements in many video.
In Tools/Preference/Subtitles,
please make the "outline thickness" thicker,
please make "add a shadow" with more shadow,
please make "ad a background" more opaque.
Subtitle hard to read when too much is in the background.
