I don't understand why VLC can't go backwards frame by frame.

Media Player Classic can.

I am coming from right now and want to use VLC. How come MPC can and VLC cant. Someone made a valid post about that and I haven't a realy good answer

I know right, it's absolutely stupid. VLC is the perfect media player except for this - someone fix it!
