Reduce or remove censorship beeps from videos in VLC?

Is it possible to get a feature that removes or silences censorship beeps from TV-shows like cops and Gold Rush? Or at least reduce the volume of these beeps? I just find it super annoying that everyone of these shows have extremely loud beep noises in order to protect our poor minds from words like "--please stay polite--" and "--please stay polite--".
