Converting videos into a new folder

I've been doing some batch conversions, to make my videos all the same resolution/type/quality/etc. In the options, when you're only converting one video, it lets you choose where to put it, but when you're batch converting, you can only put it back in the folder where it came out of, and have to use the -converted add on if you're going from and to the same format extension. It would be really nice if you could choose a new folder to send the converted videos to when doing batches, so you don't have to put that add-on on there. (and, in my case, have to go back later and remove it one-by-one, after they've been moved.)

Sorry to see no answers as i have similar problem.
I'm stuck at the Point to generate a Batch conversion. I have always a lot of Gopro Videos which have a huge data rate, so i'm converting them by reducing the Bitrate. As i have a slow Computer in Terms of Video computing i'd like to do this in Batch overnight.
i would like to Keep the set of original files in the original Folder, an the set of converted files in a named "compressed" Folder or Sub Folder, second Option to get the the compressed files in the same Folder with an Suffix "comp"
example : C:\Files\Video1\GH010001.mp4 -> C:\Files\Video1\compressed\GH010001.mp4 or C:\Files\Video1\GH010001.MP4 -> C:\Files\Video1\GH010001_comp.MP4
Of Course not only a single file but usually up to 20-25.
How would a script look like to do this. My Intention is to put the files into a Folder named Input and to place the outcoming files in a Folder named "Output" These Folders would be fixed. e.g. D:\Input and D:\Output the file names would vary as the internal counter of the GoPro would Count up.
Any Hints how to achieve this?
