Keep resized window size when replaying a video

I'm using VLC mostly in 64bit Windows7. No idea how this is handled in other platforms.
The situation I'd like to be modified.
When I start VLC, its app window is almost full screen size.
Sometimes I resize the window, for example to make video playback smoother. Usually make the window clearly smaller than its initial, default size.
If video's Loop option is enabled, the video starts replaying once the movie reaches end.
BUT: instead of using my resized window, the next video playback starts with the initial LARGE window size.
my feature wish:
If I have changed VLC window size, VLC should NOT change it on its own.
It should play videos using my new windows size. Not make it bigger, because then I have to resize it again.
This is quite annoying currently.
