Add an option to autosave current playlist on exit

All is in the title or approximately

Please, with this feature we never loose time to repopulate a playlist when we've forgotten to save it.

This could also be implemented by adding a shortcut for "fast" save of the current state of the current playlist (no interface) and a load last "fast" saved playlist (more light perhaps to code)

A more advanced part of the feature could be : play from where the playlist was (track/time) the last time we exit the application if autosave current playlist was selected in the options....

I've seen this kind of request inside some threads since 2013 (or kind of)
(Mac version used)

Thanx in advance for your time and thanx anyway for all the good work done here !

I would like to second this request. I think it is badly needly. I can not count the number of times I have accidentally closed VLC without saving the playlist. And, of course, I guess it would be best if it were a preference one could set.

+1 for this, as well as saving the current playlist state when quitting (if this isn't already included in the feature). Either way, I opened a separate feature request for this here: Restore playlist state when re-opening app
