Progress Bar in fullscreen

this is a good feature that i think is missing in vlc..............this makes easier to work in fullscreen mode.....Hope you will impelement it.....

A menu bar appearing at mouse move in full screen enables the user to quicklyy do the useful functions...like the powerdvd has a good progress bar in full screen mode......also the scroll button may be used to fast forward or fast reverse

We are discussing this. We are probably going to use an extension to the skins system to achieve this, but it must be noted that it might be a few versions before this is here.

Quicktime also has this function. If vlc had it that would be awesome!

yer something like media player classic has its progress bar pop up in full screen mode when u move your mouse down to the bottom would be awesome.

If you activate the "showintf" control interface in the preferences, moving the mouse to the top of the screen makes the main interface appear on top of the video. Clicking on the video makes it disappear again.
It's not exactly what you want, but it is the closest you can get currently, i think.
