Marquee display subfilter - Option Show every X milliseconds

Postby Polyphem » 14 Nov 2005 11:15

Hello Videolan-Developers,

would it be possible to add another option to the Marquee display sub filter? It would like to have an option to show the Marquee every x milliseconds. In conjunction with the timeout option it would be possible to fade the Marquee in and out, e.g.:

--marq-timeout X ----marq-showtime Y,Z

where Y is the first occurance and Z is the offset

so

--marq-timeout 500 ----marq-showtime 0,6000

would mean "Show Marquee at Time=0 for 5 seconds, at time=60 for 5 seconds .... and so on" (assumed all times in milliseconds).

Maybe the same option is also possible for the Logo subfilter?

Maybe it would also be possible to activate Marquee/Logo for X frames instead of X milliseconds?

Reason for this is that I think embeding Marquee/Logo is superbe, but I dont want to annoy anyone with it.

Enough for today, Thanks and Best Regards
Polyphem

P.S.: Your Programm rocks :) !
