As already established here https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.ph ... 3&p=450441, currently VLC [and other players] cannot remember which audio track and what subtitles were chosen- only the position of a given video is remembered between reopenings of VLC

So I would like to request addition of such user friendly options
