Request: Playback of multiple audio streams

Postby keybounce » 11 Aug 2016 04:55

I do recording of game playthroughs.

I am trying to utilize multiple audio tracks. Right now, I have one track for my microphone, and one track for system audio (game + teamspeak). I am trying to get three tracks to record, and work with the editor I use.

All of this is in the name of balancing the different audio tracks so that you can hear people when speaking, and not having any piece too loud.

The problem: During playback, VLC insists on only playing one audio track. For the finished output from editing, that's not an issue. But during editing, it's a pain -- especially if I'm trying to review many recording segments / locate interesting sections to put into the final video.
