VLC Player for OSX: set default audio delay

Hi VLC Team,

I would like to suggest a function to set a "default" audio delay as discussed in this thread:

https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.ph ... udio+delay

As that thread was old, I searched but did not find a solution to this so far.

I have a similar situation where a Mac Mini is connected to a theater projector, while audio is sent via aptx low-latency bluetooth to a Devialet Phantom stereo speaker system. In this scenario, I incur a pretty consistent audio delay of -350ms which I can set with several hotkey taps. But this needs to be done for each and every file. It would be great if we had the option to simply set a default audio delay value and save it for all files thereafter. I hope you may find this easy-enough to implement as I suspect there are other users who will find this useful as well.

Thank you!

Preferences -> Show All -> Audio

You can enter a + or - number in "Audio desynchronization compensation" to do what you want.
