Put the "continue where I left off" button in the toolbar

Would be easier to reach and ignore. Also it wouldn't resize the window when pressed.

Agreed. Option to add to the customize toolbar options for this and play/pause toggle would be grand indeed!

I don't care how it's done, so long as there's some kind of option somewhere so that I never have to see the thing again.

Amen to that Brother.
Get rid of this "feature" or at least add an option to turn it off.
I'm thinking about reinstalling an older VLAN version to get rid of this annoying "feature"

There has been a new version release since the last post here and that banner on the top of the screen is still there without an option to blend it out.
Why should VLAN jump in with what it thinks is a great idea and plaster and unwanted question at the top of my screen ?
Just remove it ...............

Then, disable the option.
