Multiple Audio Track Playback

Hello,

Is it possible to replace the pull down menu to select Audio Track & Audio Device for a more flexible form that can permit simultaneous multiple track playback?

Let me try to explain my goal: I wish to be able to play 3 tracks at the same time, not simply select one of them.

A new form can be created to list all the available audio tracks from the loaded media with a check box to selects witch one should play. When selected, a pull down menu should become available for each selected tracks channel to offer the playback device list and so be able to associate an output to each channel.

That way, it could be possible to manually create a 6 channels output and so be able to play 5.1 audio surround from a 3 inputs audio stereo tracks set.

I use TS files that contain 5 audio stereo tracks. The first one is a stereo dowm mix of the next 3 other that are the 6 channels of the original 5.1 surround sound (Left, Right, Center, LFE, Sur_Left & Sur_Right), the last track are synchronisation tones.

If I can be able to select and play the 3 tracks containing the original 6 audio channels simultaneously on the proper output, I should be able to reproduce de full surround sound of the original TS files. With the current method, I can only play it in stereo.

Bye
Jacques

So far, no, it's not doable.

my older topic was to suggest mixing all tracks to same audio output(like HDMI)

But yes, some want to use multiple sound cards.
