Play multiple tiled videos (NOT multiple instance)

Hello,
I am not a coder, but this feature will definitely take VLC through the next milestone.
Multiple instances of vlc are possible. But while playing them in that fashion, the interface comes in the way + the hassle of resizing each window.
It would be great to have a single instance of VLC play multiple video files with the following features:
1. Able to play local files/ network stream (streaming)
2. Choice of number of tiles of videos(odd number means one will be blank or for the current marquee feature)
3. Automatic/uneven resizing of windows (possibly a "snap to grid" feature in the gui)
4. Play all/ Pause all
5. Save as one video of particular length
6. No limitations on number of tiles/ time length of video sequences
7. Separate playlists for each tile to compensate for 5
Some reference sources to existing softwares (replace dashes with dots; max links for this forum reached)
1. Videomill from www.breakthrusoftware.com
2. MVS player from www-mvs4player-com
3. Swigview from www-swigview-com
4. Vuemix for ipad from vuemix-com
