Is there a way to program a single key to minimize VLC to the taskbar? The Boss Key may work but I cannot find a way to minimize with a single key.
(MPC-HC uses the b key to minimize)

Setting the Boss Key to use a single key should work. Perhaps the asterisk * in the number keys is feasible since it's less used and in a more convenient location on the keyboard(?) However, there does appear to be a glitch with the Boss Key. The key you set is not recognized when VLC is first started. You'll have to select a menu item first (i.e. click on Media) and then the key should work from that point on until the next time you start VLC. :/

Thank you so much for the response CloudStalker. I can assign a number to the Boss Key but I cannot find any way to assign it to Minimize. as I stated the minimize function is what is unavailable to me. If I could find a way to "minimize" with a key I would have no problem.
