Crossfade option?

Hello,

i've been using VLC media player for a few years now, and the one and only thing i miss about it is the crossfade option. It seems strange that media players on my android phone (poweramp, rocket media player) have crossfade options for playlists, but the famous VLC player does not. I don't know, it just seems strange.

Hi Jean-Baptiste, Hi VLC Team

Crossfade seems not to be an easy option to implement, not only at VLC, but also at other players such as SMPlayer, Audacious, Quod Libet, ...
Some other players such as Winamp, AIMP3, Clementine and, yes, Windows Media Player do quite well though.

As Clementine is open source, maybe this codework can be used to look at ?
Besides some HTML, PHP, SQL, Visual Basic and Open Basic, I don't know much about coding, but if any community-members or myself can help somehow...

A crossfade option in VLC would made my Clementine installation redundant ;-))

Keep up the good work !
Best regards,
Kurrado
