play 2 vlc simultaneously

Is it possible to start simultaneously 2 or more vlc player?
For an educational project I would like to play 2 different videos thru 2 vlc (and related video cards) and have one starting command for synchro playing.
Anyone can help me? Thanks!!!

In Tools -> Preferences (Show settings = All) -> Advanced
There are two options:
Allow only one running instance
One instance when started from file
Make sure both options are unticked, save the preferences then exit and restart VLC.

I knew about this feature.
Anyway what I requested is how to start 2 players with only one click or start button or command (etc...)
It is very important for my video project to syncronize the starting point.
It's not a question of instance.

I don't know which of those scripts works best, but it should be possible to send spacebar key strokes events to all windows simultaneously using AHK.
