Vlc is future full mediaplayer! Have a lot of codecs/support/function like play damage medias! and this of a way of trueness!
I wish the player plays rar/zip containers, or open and load media stream!
pleas give me a feedback! How can i help!!!

sample: VLC player is the best player with a conscious organisation like jdownloader and a lot open source projects to!

i know many users want this but knowbody support or understandable it!

i want open zip/rar with vlc player to play directlic by unpacking (temp file with vlc player).
i dont want to wait to open unpacking tool and wait for finished unpacking (big archives like movies/music disocraphy)
vlc need to handel archives!!
i think vlc player can be explore content from archive in playlist like folder!!!

when iam open folder with all parts. vlc dosent run!
when iam open the first part. = vlc does not run!

As far as I know VLC indeed can do that. However maybe there is a similar regression as was fixed here :

There the .001 .002 files no longer worked. In the link where Spongshga refers to (https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=94952) he is talking about .part01 part02 files.

Maybe there is a similar regression for those files?

(Note that I do not have such files available for testing, nor do I know whether VLC handles multiple media files in an archive like Spongshga is talking about)

VLC doesn't seem to play files compressed with the new Rar (version 5) algorithm.

Also die Idee ist es, das der VLC-Player Archiv abspielen kann in denen Medien-Dateien enthalten sind.
RAR/Parts/ZIP

Das bedeutet das ich mithilfe des Players Archive öffnen kann diese durchstöbern und mit einem klick auf einer Mediendatei diese Entpackt und zugleich direkt abgespielt wird. Der Player ist ein Profi im abspielen von defekten oder Temporären Dateien.
Dieses Funktion würde den Player um weiten in die Zukunft sehen lassen.

Ein Plugin für den JDownloader könnte ebenso das Abspielen von Temporären Videos und Musik-Dateien enorm beschleunigen, sowie Klicks und Überwachung ersparen:

Ja richtig, das mit dem Passwortgeschützen Archiven ist ein Problem, eine Passwortliste oder eine manuele nachfrage vom Player wäre schön!

Zudem wäre es klasse wenn man ein beliebigen Part mit dem VLC-Player öffnet und er autmatisch part 1-Läd und abspielt.

I did some testing using Big buck bunny (mirror.bigbuckbunny.de/peach/bigbuckbunny_movies/big_buck_bunny_480p_stereo.avi) and winrar:
zip - plays
zip & password - name appears in vlc nothing else happens (plays when opening zip in explorer and then opening file there(pw entered in explorer))
rar normal compression - nothing
rar no compression - plays
rar no compression - multiple parts - nothing
rar & password nothing
(same for rar5)

and also with a .h264 file (http://mirror.bigbuckbunny.de/peach/big ... p_h264.mov)

i see you have add it to the new vlc player 3.0 (beta) with little bugs.
i wish you cann add a passwortcracker with txt list to open automaticly for passwort saved archives.
