Fullscreen video control

Hi, I switched from RealPlayer 10 to VLC recently, and I have to say that I really like it's minimal and easy interface.

But I would like more control in the fullscreen video department. I really liked the popup control bar that appeared when you moved the cursor during playback. With it, you could pause, play, skip, etc., and it had the progress bar for finding just right the spot in the video you wanted. After you you were done using it, the bar would disappear. I think that would be a great addition.

Also, it would be nice if the cursor disappeared completely in fullscreen mode after being still for three seconds.

Keep up the good work!

Also, the popup bar could have a volume control and a File or Menu button similar to the right-click function for video playback.

I fully agree. I can't believe this option isn't in it. It is the only reason that is keeping me from using vlc as my standard, so hurry guys :D

I also want this feature. Every mainstream video player has it. While VLC is definitely my favorite and by far the best, I think it should have this convenient feature in order to be able to say "fully-featured and beyond" :)

It's not like this is something you can program in three days ppl. It's on the list, and one day we will make it. It's just not a priority (learn your hotkeys, they are way more useful and less obtrusive anyways).
