Proper BD-J Support in VLC

I know this is probably a minority feature, (just for those that keep full iso / folder rips of blurays i guess), but would it be possible to get official support via some sort of paid add-on for VLC? (i.e. via kickstarter or something?)
i'd love this for WinRT especially!!

2.2.0 might have it, but it is not possible for WinRT, because of the Java part.

that's a shame (but understandable given the limits of windows store apps)... i guess it's almost impossible for any player to support this within windows rt right? (i notice the other DVD player software producers haven't made any Windows Store apps either, of note.)... i was hoping MS would have some sort of allowance...

They won't. This is ridiculous.

maybe it'll come as a future in-house thing only... XBOX One is going to have bluray support, and that's meant to run some flavour of Windows.... i won't hold my breath though... thanks for the prompt responses Jean-Baptiste! hope VLC for WinRT is going ok!
