Would be nice to see a taskbar control of VLC (with volume, stop/start and next/previous track) just like with MS Windows Media Player. Fully accessable through the taskbar, without having to place the mouse pointer on the icon...

Does that work in Windows 7, and how do I activate it in that case? The documentation (wiki) does not seem to apply to Win 7.

It is automatically activated by default.

Okay, I suppose I was expecting controls directly on the task bar, hence why I didn't see/think about those.

Would be nice to have such a screenshot in the documentation.
