I watch a lot of boxing videos and usually find myself slowing the video down to watch punches better.

A lot of times, time is wasted jumping backwards, navigating through the context menu and selecting the desired speed.

Is there anyway to create a keyboard shortcut to increase, decrease and normalize the playback speeds?

Yes, and they exist already by default. ( + - = { } )
