Shows if movie viewed is NTSC or PAL?

I have VLC 2.0.2 right now, is there a toggle or info button where the program will show me if I am viewing a movie in NTSC or PAL format? Right now I have to keep a copy of Cyberlink DVD on my computer just for that one purpose.. (I know if I play the movie on the computer with VLC I don't have to worry about what format it's in, but I like to burn my movies to DVD-RWs to play with the BluRay and surround system and I need NTSC format)...

NTSC or PAL do not mean anything, sorry. But I see what you mean, look at the info windows at look at 25fps vs 29.97fps

that's good, I know those are the frame rates for the different formats, but after looking at all the program menus, where would I find the info window to find that? Clicking on the Properties of the movie file in the directory doesn't give the fps either.. thanks for your help
