Slider small popup (preview)

Up front: I am newbie as far as VLC is concerned.
I have been watching some videos (most likely YouTube).
When slowly dragging the slider to the right and halting here and there, a very small thumbnail popped up showing what to expect there.
This is quite handy when one is looking for a specific scene. Quite nice.
The bad thing is: I forgot about it and now I don't remember which video and/or which player.
Does VLC has this feature?
Is it some kind of setting?
