Real Media File Support (.RM)

Postby Aaron » 05 Jul 2006 05:55

Hey you guys, I love VLC and I believe it is the best player except for the fact that it does NOT support the playing of RM video files, it only plays the volume, and I was wondering if it was possible to make it play these kinds of files as the real media player and real media player alternative don't exten to my second monitor, but VLC does. So i would really like VLC to support RM files.

Thanks, Aaron

There is no free implementation of the Real Codecs, so it is unlikely that VLC will be able to read those files.

You are soooo nice. But no, there is not the decoder for real files on this site.
Helix is a player, but uses the proprietary codecs Real to decode it.
