VLC Port to Android Automotive OS?

Hi -
Checking in on whether anyone might be working on an Android Automotive OS port (the OS running on car infotainment systems like the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus).

I'm not sure what the pain in the neck factor would be, but AAOS really lacks a decent media player, able to handle USB media files (AAOS sees the files on a thumb drive, for instance, just there's no AAOS app to designate as the player for .mp3 or other quite common, readily handled by VLC, formats).
