Jellyfin Server Login

Hello, a great feature would be network support for Jellyfin servers. I know on the network tab of any of the iOS clients you can login to a Plex server, but a lot of people are moving to Jellyfin now as it is also open source.

Same here. Would like to see this work on Linux. Of course, right now I have to figure out if the DLNA functionality is actually working on Jellyfin. I can connect with the Jellyfin android client as well as through a web browser on my desktop[, but the "Universal Plug & Play" on VLC can't find it. It would be preferable if you could give it a server directly rather than relying on it finding something on a network scan

Hi,
Thanks for the report. If DLNA is enabled on your Jellyfinn instance, it should be discoverable by VLC otherwise, its a bug on our side.
Could you try with another DLNA client?
