Show subtitles in a separate overlay

Postby citromlingo » 26 Jun 2022 17:43

Is there any way/option to show subtitles on the video, but on a separate overlay? So whenever you make screenshots the subtitles are not visible on the screenshots.
This is so annoying, because every time I make a screenshot the subtitles are on the image, ruining the scene. So I disable the subtitles, make a screenshot, reenable them. Quite tiring after a while :(.

I tried adding a padding-bar (via filters) to the bottom of the video to move the subtitles out of the video area, but the area gets the dreaded green color and there is no way to remove that.

Thanks!

Maybe we should add an option to take a screenshot without OSD and subtitles.
