With Apple TV running in HDR mode, with “match content”/“match frame rate” selected, Netflix and TV apps can dynamically switch TV between SDR and HDR (and frame rates) depending on content.
VLC doesn’t seem to do that, so with Apple TV in HDR mode and 60 fps, all videos played on VLC seem washed out and over exposed, with jitter.
