Remember Playlists in Recent Media instead of Files

I ripped several old music albums and have playlists for them on my computer.

Whenever I play a playlist, all the files in the playlist are listed in recent media. It would be more useful if the playlist showed in recent media instead of the individual mp3s. Is this possible? If not, is it possible to add this as an option, or as the standard behaviour?

I'm gonna bump this post because I also agree that this would be INCREDIBLY handy, as would being able to scroll through the recent played as well. It's infuriating to delete items from the recently played to try and get to where I need/want to be.
