skip certain parts of all files in the playlist

Postby mace » 06 Jan 2006 13:14

Hello you lot.

Every now and then i fancy i had the chance to instruct VLC player to skip certain parts of all the video files in the playlist. Maybe you already guess why so: when watching series of anime, i usually put several episodes on the playlist, and would quite like to skip the first, say 1 minute 20 secords from the beginning and the last 40 seconds off all the files.

It's a great video player.

Hello,

You can set the global options start-time and stop-time (in Input/Codecs->Advanced. Don't forget to enable advanced options).

Oh wow, I had never even thought of trying that. Ooooh, I can feel a lazy evening watching non stop anime coming up

Gonna go try that now, thanks!
