Play SRT with audio file and blank audio vizualizer

Currently, if I want to view subtitles with an audio file, I must enable one of the following vizualizers:

* Spectrometer
* Scope
* Spectrum
* Vu Meter

I'd like to see a simple black screen without any vizualizer, while still viewing the subtitles. However, if I disable the vizualizer, I can no longer see the subtitles. Can we add a simple "Blank" vizualizer?

This is not exactly what you requested but simply convert your audio file into a video and then add the subs.
