Set faster speeds, eg. ...3x, 4x, 6x, 8x...

I would like to be able to set speeds for the

faster

and

slower

commands. For example I would like to be able to set repeated

fasters

to go to 1.5x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 6x, 8x, etc. This is the only one I really care about, as for previewing some [most mp4's] I find 4x not quite fast enough but 8x too fast. Thank you, ralatvlc.
