maybe I don't understand to use VLC, maybe it can already do these things, but so far, no luck. (I use 2.2.6)
I need a replacement for the Windows photo viewer because that photo viewer doesn't support panning views of 360° images. VLC should be able to do it.
1. display JPG files - so far, it displays regular jpgs but as if they were a video of a few seconds length, so I can see the image for a few seconds. It should just display them and stay there like a photo viewer does, then cursor keys should display the next image. This should include 360° jpg images generated with Samsung Gear 360 (which aren't displayed so far), and for those, the image should be displayed in a 360° panning mode, not all at once
2. display 360° videos in panning mode
3. Why does the playlist (under Devices) not display the local hard disks? only the CD drive is displayed.
