Okay, I will try to explain my situation:
When replaying a video that has been played previously, a bar at the top of the screen is shown for a short time which asks you whether you would like to resume from the last position and lets you decide between mouse clicking the "Continue" or the "x" button.
However, I'm using the media player remotely via a remote control, and in this environment there are two problems:
1) the asking bar doesn't show up at all when the media player is started from the command line with special options (e. g. "--fullscreen --overlay --video-on-top --vout directx --intf dummy --dummy-quiet")
2) even if 1) was possible, I could not navigate the mouse to any of these buttons
So, it would be great if you could add a customizable hotkey to jump to the subroutine in VLC's code that does the same thing as pressing the "Continue" button afterwards the asking bar normally would have shown.
Thank you in advance!
