I already make use of the the FTP feature in the iOS version of VLC. I think it would be a great addition to include support for SSH/SFTP.
I know VLC is not meant to be used as an image viewer but I think it would be great if it could do this. Especially since it only displays cover art embedded in the audio files and not cover art in the same folder as the audio files.
Probably the most useful feature would be to include to downloading multiple files. Currently, using FTP, each file in a folder must be selected for download. It would be more practical if there was an option to select all of the files in a folder for downloading.
