Playlist directories

When you drag some directories to the playlist, vlc should be able to take contents. Not the directories....

VLC will load the directory and display the contents in the tree playlist. What behavior would you like instead ?

VLC devrait prendre le contenus de répertoire un peu comme le lecteur windows media player. Ce serait utile avec la lecture aléatoire lorsqu'on a plusieurs répertoires

When you drag direcories to the playlist, vlc should show all files of all directories. It's usefull for random playing

Ok, the thing is, you have to "play" the directory once (by double clicking it) to have it expand.

We might actually want to fix this ...

yep i agree i stated this in this viewtopic.php?t=13318 thread

when adding folders to VLC the playlist looks like:


it would be much better if it looked like this:


same goes for loading playlists, they should already be expandable folders
