I have 4GB RAM, Is it possible to use RAM cache instead of HDD cache for streaming videos? I don't need to VLC to remember more than 3 minutes (about 360MB for a Full HD video with high bitrate of 16Mbps)...
It think it would be better for the 'HDD health' for user who view lot Hi-def streaming videos using VLC.
